May 08, 2017 11:03 AM Back
It’s no doubt things WILL change once you tie the knot and especially once you start a family. And, YES, there will be less time for YOU, as those around you take priority. Still, experts assert that you don’t have to (entirely) lose yourself or all those things that make you attractive, feminine and unique. In fact, its imperative for your own sake and for your family’s that you continue to cultivate your charm, elegance and sensational characteristics.
According to experts women have all those essential little traits that make them not only attractive to their mate but also make them feel attractive and good about themselves. And, while the world may say otherwise, there is nothing wrong about flaunting your femininity and playing up your girly side.
Men and women alike tend to admire not only beauty but self confidence, so nurturing both is good for you and your spouse. Remember to follow your heart and focus on things that make your feel fabulous and feminine.
Soft, sophisticated ladies that are also enigmatic and somewhat “unpredicatable”, self-sufficient, and perhaps a bit “dangerous” convey a strong message about themselves to the world and to their man. And, knowing who you are and liking it works wonders for YOU.
Some women can even maintain their sex appeal and allure when exhausted. Why…well, because of attitude baby.
Here’s some expert advice on the art of allure for busy femmes, especially those with families
1. Stay in touch with your feelings: While you may be beyond busy trying to be Super Woman.. you don’t have to give up your Cinderella side. Play music while you do housework. Buy yourself pretty flowers and put them on display in your home. Wear pretty pjs when you get home from work…these little things help paint a BIG picture and can make a HUGE difference in how you feel and how your mate sees you and feels about you.
2. Stay Body Conscious: Remember how much time and energy you put into your body before marriage and possibly children. We understand there is likely VERY LITTLE time for ALL that. However, experts suggest setting aside some time, like after a shower, to shower yourself with at least the basic feminine essentials. Make sure to moisturize, wear pretty under-things, take a bubble bath (once in a while), pamper your hands and feet, dance…even while doing housework..and don’t lose focus on things that make your body (and mind) feel good.
3. Make Your Home A “Red Light” District: Give yourself permission to STOP…breathe and exhale. While “NEVER put off for tomorrow what you can do today IS sound advice, its also imperative to set boundaries and limits so you can enjoy yourself and your family….and possible have some fun.
4. Get Lost: Lose yourself in a good movie, a good book, a creative outlet or anything that will allow your mind and body to relax and that will stimulate your senses….it will keep you feeling sexy and your sparkle and shine will eliminate the house and your relationship.
